On the walls, we fixed the stars of Braila,
Events and kisses and shells open that whisper your cry when the world begins with you,
With winds and birds and that little wolf’s nest made in my heart,
Half in eclipse, like a life broken in star vapors that haunts my memory of the storm,
In the snowy void between us that stirs deer on the open plains of the soul,
I kiss you, my darling,
As you walk up the dreamy street,
You stand with your eyes detached Grigorescu painting,
Covering me with your love-starved body where the fire burns white-hot on the shore with jellyfish,
Kissing the wandering of the last whispers under which we hide mute of sins in our purple wilderness.
Hold me, my love, in your arms like a tree you have embraced in play with the twilight that undressed us in newfound springs.
