In a newly built,

Crescent gate, made of bricks,

They hold each otherโ€™s hands,

What are they looking at?

Murmuring forever.

The crescent moon enters,

The gate once more,

To find that pair of lovers,

But only me, the irrelevant one.

I softly touch,

The bricks of centenary goalposts,

Suddenly, who tenderly,

Whispers to me?

โ€œDidnโ€™t you say forever?โ€

At Tamsui Red Castle.

โ€ฆ.

(Self-translation from MANDARIN)
