In a newly built,
Crescent gate, made of bricks,
They hold each other’s hands,
What are they looking at?
Murmuring forever.
The crescent moon enters,
The gate once more,
To find that pair of lovers,
But only me, the irrelevant one.
I softly touch,
The bricks of centenary goalposts,
Suddenly, who tenderly,
Whispers to me?
“Didn’t you say forever?”
At Tamsui Red Castle.
