This Rain Shares Secret of the Eons

This petrichor turns over pages of the gone by,
This rainy season delves deep into the reveries,
It is conscious of insatiable thirst of the desert.
This petrichor perceives the dingy,
Thatβs spread over the land far and wide.Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β
Somewhere thereβs a view, somewhere thereβs a vista,
Somewhere thereβs a memories soaked moment,Β Β Β Β Β
There are myriad tales of, remembered and forgotten.Β Β Β Β Β
Every droplet carries a long yarn like spread fable in it.
This rain is a voice of singing the stories.
The just poured rain β
It shares secrets of eons.

Azhar Nadeem
Azhar NadeemΒ is a lawyer by profession. He was born on June 16, 1969 in Fortabbas, District Bahawalnagar, Punjab, Pakistan. He has been presently living and practicing is law pursuits in Bahawalpur. He has published three book of poetry: βNazm Mera Zeena Hayβ (Poem is My Stairway) 2018, βSitaray Sochti Aankhenβ (Eyes Which Keep Thinking About Stars) 2020, and βDo Phoolon Ki Kainaβtβ (The Universe of Two Flowers) 2022, which have received acclaim from the readers,critics and his contemporary poets. Presently, he is working on his fourth collection of poetry, which is expected to be published by the end 2024.Β
