Poetry and Love

Endless are the Poetry and Love;

Soil never stops growing flowers;

Rivers continue flowing towards oceans;

Supernovas can never empty the skies;

The marama keeps following its track;

Who has ever measured the volume of sorrows?

Entire cosmos obeys the law of demand and supply;

The eyes that absorb beauty always stay lucent;

For comeliness, mirrors are vital;

Nature is the driving force.

Finally, life is infinite and limitless;

Poetry and love don’t let perish human hope;

Like the life,

Poetry and Love know no bounds.

They All Are Listening

I feel, they all are listening.

The weather, the wind and birds froze;

The hills, clouds and stars slouched;

The jungle and the desert are engrossed;

The streams and rivers flowings

gripped in the melody of my song.

The flowers are dancing ecstatically on the tune.

Since you have been listening to my song,

I feel they all are listening.

The love

Love a baffling mysterious girl,

Endowed with great allures;

So she didn’t like to stop,

Wore thirstiness on her feet

And took expedition over oceans.

Cognizant of the doom fate of all the parables,

She creates the myths of characters,

And put them down in the gallery of eternity.

Seekers of the redolence of her footprints,

Find themselves live and die in the stanzas of poems.

If she hums a song

Earth echoes mirth.

If she spurns for the moment,

You become dispirited.

Each and every moment,

She keeps you flabbergasted.

Love a baffling mysterious girl.

Azhar Nadeem’s poems explore themes of love, nature, and the ineffable beauty of existence. In “Poetry and Love,” Nadeem describes the eternal nature of poetry and love, likening them to natural phenomena like flowers growing from soil and rivers flowing to the oceans. He emphasizes their boundless quality, suggesting that just as the cosmos and natural forces are limitless, so too are poetry and love. Through metaphors like mirrors reflecting beauty and nature being the driving force, he underscores the interconnectedness of human emotion and the world around us.

In “They All Are Listening,” Nadeem personifies nature, portraying it as captivated by the speaker’s song. The imagery of weather, wind, birds, hills, and stars being entranced creates a sense of unity between the speaker and the natural world. The poem conveys a profound sense of connection and belonging, suggesting that the act of expression through art, in this case, song, can resonate deeply with both human and non-human entities.

“The Love” delves into the enigmatic nature of love, personifying it as a mysterious girl who embarks on a relentless quest for exploration. Nadeem portrays love as both alluring and unpredictable, capable of bringing both joy and sorrow. Through the metaphor of creating myths and characters immortalized in poetry, he highlights the enduring impact of love on human experience. The poem captures the essence of love’s complexities, depicting it as a force that leaves individuals spellbound and profoundly transformed.

Overall, Azhar Nadeem’s poems exhibit a deep appreciation for the intricacies of life, love, and nature. Through vivid imagery, personification, and metaphor, he invites readers to contemplate the timeless themes of existence and human emotion. Nadeem’s work resonates with readers through its lyrical beauty and profound insights into the human condition.
