A Letter To My Lovely Mother

Every day when sunrises,

It rises with a new chapter of my pains,

You told me to be patience,

But have failed to be mom.

I thought life is easy,

But it is very difficult,

I have been crying every day,

Pains, sores and sufferings,

Have become the most important part of my life,

Indeed mom, so is this life?

Crying, sorrows, loneliness are my friends forever,

I am discriminated,

I am suffering,

I am beaten as an animal that has no place to be,

I’m eating by chance,

The floor is now my bed,

My hand is my bed sheet that I use to cover myself,

Every day I’m crying,

Until my cheeks have a river that doesn’t dry up,

I’m tired of releasing a river of tears every night.

Tears are my daily food,

They have named me different bad names,

If is a book, I think it is now full,

And every chapter has a lot of pains.

I am so tired mommy,

Since you left me,

Have never even smile,

Have been of crying and beaten,

Have no place for now,

I’m now a street child,

Pangs are built in my heart every day,

So is it a cursed to be an orphan?

Please mom, come and take me,

I am tired of the world,

Mom, life has become bitter to me.
