The Moment before Ascending to Heaven

The heart strives with every effort to free itself,

From Death’s black hands.

The bed, trembles,

Death’s black hands.

The doctor hides in the corner,

And sighs.

The sound of Sherrie’s breathing,

Alerts the earth.

Awakens the heavens.
