There was not enough time for Sherrie,
To reminisce upon Dad,
Yet had to let Dad be bitterly hurt,
There was not enough time for Sherrie,
To reminisce upon Dad,
Yet had to let Dad be bitterly hurt,
Sherrie, 29 years of age,
Not yet old.
And her life ended,
Leaving behind, my oldness,
The heart strives with every effort to free itself,
From Death’s black hands.
The bed, trembles,
Death’s black hands.
