Night Descends

Β
Bearing the weight of solitude,
Upon the bunkerβs rooftop,
It reads the full moonβs letter.
In the isolation of a gun,
Night glistens in the yellow sulfur of yearning,
Spread within the steel barrel.
Gun in hand, a trumpet echoes,
The cutting edge of a turbulent knife,
Night collects pearl necklaces in the throat.
Amid relentless leaden rains,
Within the temple wound,
Unraveling gunpowder knots,
On foreheads ignited with worry,
Diluting dreams of the blood strip,
Night descends upon the shoulders of the chain.
