Friendship dances
with cold rays of light
on passing waves of water
Friendship dances
on slices of pickles
given as alms
on slipping hunger,
On the wonder
of pain
on the desire of an adopted child.
Friendship dances,
Wrapped in shivering memories
on the shore of helplessness
on the peels
of teardrops
Friendship dances.
