Born in 1957 in Travnik, Bosnia and Herzegovina. Currently she lives and works in Washington DC, USA. Derviša Grabus Čolaković has published four books of poetry: “𝘡𝘪𝘷𝘰𝘵𝘯𝘦 𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘻𝘦 𝘱𝘰𝘴𝘵𝘰𝘫𝘢𝘯𝘫𝘢” (Life Paths of Existence) 2021, “𝘛𝘪𝘩𝘪 𝘬𝘰𝘳𝘢𝘤𝘪” (Quiet Footsteps) 2022, “𝘡𝘪𝘷𝘰𝘵 𝘪 𝘴𝘶𝘥𝘣𝘪𝘯𝘢” (Life and Destiny) 2022, and “𝘒𝘢𝘱 𝘶 𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘶 𝘭𝘫𝘶𝘣𝘢𝘷𝘪” (A Drop in the Ocean of Love) 2023. Her poems are published in several anthologies and collections of poetry.
