Flowers and Love

In you, my love, a sweet spring grows;
With pastel flowers on the hills and tender young trees;
And winter chases it away, snow slowly goes away;
In my heart, playful love flutters!
I look into your eyes as the glaciers melt;
Blue floods me from your serene irises;
And I feel that soon the maples will turn green;
And spring comes on the wings of cherubs!
How beautiful it is outside and I feel how the grass grows;
A warm happiness passes through me now;
When I see the blue flower that sticks its head out;
From under the white snow with serene smiles!
My love, you are beautiful like a spring flower;
With a certain fresh and clean scent;
With you, loves bloom on the threshold of the evening;
And they secretly indulge in winged thoughts!
So, let’s go outside, at sunrise;
Let me gather hyacinth flowers and proud snowdrops for you;
And, let me put a wreath on your hair, from Lilies of the Valley;
From delicate bluebells, let me weave earrings for you!

Rónja Broich
Matrona Broich (Rónja) was born on April 2, 1957, in the commune of Mahmudia, Tulcea County. Also, She has lived in Germany for many years, but her poetry keeps alive the vibration of the Romanian language. and the mystery of the soul born of longing.
She has published six volumes of poetry, received with joy and gratitude by readers: Love as a Sea; The Flame of Love; The Colors of Love; Dream of Love; Longing for Love; Travelers through Destiny.
Her volumes were published in collaboration with famous publishing houses and magazines, including Cervantes, Dor de infinit, Luceafărul din Vale and Lucval & Ken. She has prefaces, full with praise of her poetry, from prominent poets and critics.
Notably, Rónja discovered poetry after a great loss when silence turned into words. One day, walking alone in the park, she felt that beautiful memories can be reborn in rhyme. And, since then she has been writing incessantly.
Since her debut, she has been noted for the delicacy of expression and the clarity of metaphor. Moreover, Broich’s poetry is a pure confession, an interweaving of feminine sensitivity and the wisdom of the soul that has known love, longing and hope. Also, she is member of the Romanian Writers’ Society.
