Aching; breaking; a war torn mind;
Beautiful; ecstasy; a love so refined.
Forgotten; anonymous; the night entices;
Eternal; serenity; life’s welcoming vices.
Alone; afraid; the fringes of life;
Happiness; excitement; for spouses.
Solitude; misery; the days to endure;
Laughter; friendship; life ever so pure.
Silence; darkness; an existence is made;
Singing; smiling; fizzing like cold lemonade.
Beleaguered, empty, a tongue forever tied,
Contentment, joy, with all warm inside.
Desperate; anxious; the bell must toll;
Peaceful; acquiesce; attaining such a goal.
Fear; paranoia; a grip now free;
Tears, loneliness, when all left me.
Eternal; harmony; this time for evermore;

Since 24 years old Abeera Mirza, married with a baby girl, is an English literature gold medalist, teacher and gifted poet. So, she has contributed to more than 200 anthologies and many international magazines. Her poetry book “Jar of Emotions” showcases her profound perspective and her poetic work has been published in China recently. Moreover, The Mount Kenya Times and Poetic Essence Publications (India) published her interview. She has won many titles such as Miss Literary Critic by her university. (University of Lahore, Pakistan). Presently, she is serving as a jury member for Maverick Writing Community, India where she mentors emerging writers to grow. Furthermore, her passion for learning is endless. Also, she always looks to learn more beyond boundaries. Abeera’s writing style has touched countless lives.
