POETRY
FOREVER
โPOEM by Ming-Keh Chen
(Translated from Mandarin)

In
a newly built,
Crescent
gate, made of bricks,
They
hold each otherโs hands,
What
are they looking at?
Murmuring
forever.
The
crescent moon enters,
The
gate once more,
To
find that pair of lovers,
But
only me, the irrelevant one.
I
softly touch,
The
bricks of centenary goalposts,
Suddenly,
who tenderly,
Whispers
to me?
โDidnโt
you say forever?โ
At Tamsui Red Castle.
โฆ.
