She hails from Azamgarh, Uttar Pradesh, India. She is a journalist, writer and poetess. She started writing in the prestigious Urdu newspaper “Inqlaab” and now her columns are published in “Daily Rashtriya Sahara” and other newspapers of India. Alizay Najaf’s poetic journey started with the genre of Ghazal, due to his interest in prose poetry, he has now started experimenting in this genre as well. She is anticipated to soon publish a collection of interviews conducted by her.
