From Lahoot to Nasoot (From Divine to Mortal),
From the Throne to the Earth,
From the Light to the Dust,
I descended,
Clothed in water and clay.
When I was born,
My soul,
Through a frail and delicate bud-like body,
Screamed, wept, and wailed,
Crying out—
“O’ Master of all existence!
O’ Bestower of the most exclusive gift — death!
Take me back,
To that point of absolution,
Where being nothing,
Was everything.”

Syed Abdul Wahid Fani, born on 28 February, 2004, hails from Pishin, Balochistan, Paksistan and is currently a BS Urdu Literature student at Islamia University Bahawalpur. Showcasing his talents across various literary domains, he writes critical essays in both Urdu and English. He has authored and compiled twelve books, yet to be published. Fani also possesses expertise in translation, and one of his translated works, Infidel of Love, has been published in English. His interest in poetry spans multiple genres, and he has completed four poetry collections. His writings reflect intellectual depth, artistic maturity, existential dread, spiritual thoughts, and literary aesthetics, granting him a distinct identity in contemporary literature.
