The wind blows but cannot fly dust,

Rock is as soft as pap,

Elephant is like a mouse,

Lion begs for food,

The sky is as flat as pedestrian way,

Grasses turn houses,

Crocodile swallows wisdom and idea,

Child cries mother cheers up,

Jellyfish now lives in a thick forest,

Lice stands to bear ìrókò[1] tree,

Chicken dreams to ingest fox,

Bedbug heralds to suck shark’s blood,

Songbird starts singing sad songs.

….

(Self-translation from Yoruba)
