Woman!

Girl!

Eternal inspiration!

In you, the beauty of the angels merged,

And the gentle touch of the heavens.

The painters exalted you,

Poets sang of you.

More beautiful than the most beautiful flower,

Sweeter than sugar and honey,

You, muse before whom all bow,

While the soldiers remain  discouraged and disarmed,

A picture before even the Giants remain speechless.

Woman!

Birthing woman!

Through your life is renewed,

Vine through which the human race is continued.

Under your heart you carry all your daughters and sons,

In your womb new lives are being created.

Breastfeeding woman!

With your milk you suckle heroes,

Under wing you grow your dearests.

Woman!

Mother!

No one can replace you!

Every tear of yours is heavier than a mountain,

For the happiness of your children

Would choose even death.

You are stronger than steel,

Stronger than a lioness,

You fight shadows and dragons,

You disperse mists and black clouds.

Mother!

А suffering woman!

The torments of the face,

They remain furrowed,

On your skin,

You carry all your sufferings, scars and marks.

Your hair turned white from worries and fears,

Your bones have bent from work and weights.

You don’t complain when you sacrifice,

You’re like an amazon when you protect your home.

Woman!

Goddess!

Without you the world would be nothing,

Songs would remain unsung,

Pictures unpainted,

Love not tasted.

And the soul will be an empty cup,

Without wine sweet and un-drunk,

Many have immortalized you,

Thousands have exalted you.

For you,

Wars were fought,

Your shine never fades,

You are like the sun that never sets.

Dove of peace!

Empress most beautiful!

….
