— FLASH FICTION by

I was a child.
Snow fell, and little white mounds covered the dirty asphalt of the streets.
So, the atmosphere suddenly became magical, and a muffled silence settled all around us.

Then my sister and I, excited, played all day long; until sunset arrived and ice took over, forcing us to go back inside.
Our noses were red, but our hearts were full of joy and love.
Some emotions, not even snow can freeze.
