Like stranger Iโm living,
Walking like of villagers,
My cloth is slight,
But my body is jumbo.
Diverse things I desire,
They are sheer sheen,
Like zebra in hue,
And I run fast to acquire.
Moon sleeps, sun awakes,
Wind blows to and fro,
Dove flies gently,
Peacock is proud of its beauty,
The things with me are:
Rag, betrayer, and garbage;
Iโm now like the wood-carrier,
Then, I strive to bear my baggage.

Abubakar Shehu Omotosho
Born and bred in a symmetrical community โBabokoโ Ilorin, Kwara State, Nigeria, on September 18, 2003. Abubakar Shehu Omotosho is an inveterate poet and playwright.ย He attended his primary education at Eruda L.G.E.A primary school while his Secondary education at Baboko Community, Secondary School, Ilorin, Kwara state, Nigeria.
Abubakar Shehu Omotosho is presently a student of Kwara polytechnic, studying Mass Communication. Abubakar Shehu Omotosho has been writing staunch short stories since a student of SS 1 class. Having had his secondary education, he published his book โThe Deceptive Friendโ in 2021. Later on, he started composing poems in 2022.
