POETRY
Creating Our Realm
—POEM by Radmila Stojadinović
(Translated from Serbian by Jovana Stojadinović)

In whispers soft, the ink’s embrace,
On parchment white, the dreams we chase,
For World Poetry Day, we weave our art,
A tapestry of words, from every heart.
With verses bright, like stars aglow,
We paint the skies, with tales to show,
Of love’s sweet dance, and longing’s ache,
In rhythmic beats, our souls awake.
With pen in hand, and thoughts unbound,
We wander realms, where truths are found,
Through whispered winds and ocean’s roar,
Our voices rise, forevermore.
For poetry is not just words on a page,
It’s magic we wield, in every stage,
To shape a world of beauty and grace,
In every poem, a sacred space.
So let us celebrate this wondrous day,
Where poets unite, in a grand array,
Stitching dreams in the fabric of time,
World Poetry Day, our souls entwine.
For on this day, we poets stand tall,
Together we rise, we hear the call,
To share our stories, to let them fly,
On World Poetry Day, our spirits sigh.
So let the ink flow, let hearts ignite,
In this realm of words, where dreams take flight,
For in our poems, we find our way,
Happy World Poetry Day, let’s create today!
